About this experience
Nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, the Valley of Flowers National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its vibrant alpine meadows and breathtaking mountain scenery. Spread across 87.5 sq. km, the valley blooms with over 600 species of wildflowers during the monsoon season, creating one of the most spectacular landscapes in the Himalayas.
Located nearby at an altitude of 4,632 meters (15,200 ft), Hemkund Sahib is one of the highest Sikh pilgrimage sites in the world. Surrounded by snow-clad peaks and a pristine glacial lake, it offers a unique blend of natural beauty and spiritual serenity.
The trek begins from Govindghat and passes through the scenic village of Ghangaria, the base camp for both destinations. Open from June to September, this trek is a perfect combination of adventure, nature, and spirituality in the heart of the Himalayas.

Rishikesh to Joshimath / Pandukeshwar (256 Km Drive)
• Assemble at the designated pickup point in Rishikesh by 6:30 AM.
• Drive through the scenic Himalayan roads towards Joshimath/Pandukeshwar.
• Witness the famous river confluences of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandprayag.
• Enjoy beautiful views of the Alaknanda River throughout the journey.
• Arrive at Joshimath/Pandukeshwar and check into the hotel/homestay.

Joshimath / Pandukeshwar to Pulna | Trek to Ghangaria (9 Km Trek)
• Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a trek briefing by the trek leader.
• Drive to Pulna, the starting point of the trek.

• Pass through forests, waterfalls, tea stalls, and mountain villages.
• Reach Ghangaria, the base village for the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.
