About this experience
Kalsubai Trek is very popular in the Sahyadri region. It is also the highest peak of Maharashtra with an altitude of 5,400 ft. waterfalls, historical forts, grasslands, and forests await you here, at Kalsubai. It offers you a view of many historical forts like Alang, Madan, Kulang. You can also get the view of Harihargad, Harishchandragad, and Ratangad on a clear day. Kalsubai trek is also very well known for night trekking. The base village for this trek is Bari. It is a good and short weekend getaway if you are looking for a short break from your hectic life.
History: Kalsubai temple has been drawing villagers from nearby villages for a long time to receive the blessings of Kalsubai Devi. A girl named Kalsubai lived in the mountains. She cured villagers and animals, she also helped in village activities. It so happened, that one day she left for the summit, never to return. In her memory, this temple was built at the mountain side while the main Kalsubai temple was built on the peak

• Multiple on route pickup point available.
• Route will be Ch. Shivajinagar – Aundh – Jagtap Dairy – Nashik Phata – Bhosari – Bari Village (Kalsubai)

• Catch 08:44 PM Fast local from CSMT to Kasara & reach Kasara.

Reach Base Village & Start Trek.
• 03:00AM – Reach base village and freshen up
• Changing room & wahsroom are available at base village.
• 03:30AM – Start trek.
• 07:00AM – Reach the highest peak and watch magical sunrise.
• 07:30AM – Breakfast at top.
• 09:00AM – Start descend.
• 12:00PM – Reach base village and have lunch.
• 02:30PM – Leave for Pune & reach by 9 PM with full of memories.
• 02:30PM – Leave for Kasara by jeep and then by local to Mumbai.
• 05:00PM – Reach Kasara & take available local to Mumbai.
• Arrival time depends on pace of group and traffic.
