Bandaje Arbi Falls is one of the most stunning waterfall destinations in the Charmadi forest range of the Western Ghats. Located around 350 km from Bangalore in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka, this hidden gem attracts trekkers, nature lovers, and adventure enthusiasts from across the state.
The magnificent waterfall cascades from a height of nearly 200 feet as a tributary of the Netravati River, offering breathtaking panoramic views and an unforgettable trekking experience.
The trek takes you deep into dense rainforests, rolling grasslands, misty valleys, and rugged mountain trails. Surrounded by lush greenery and floating clouds, the trail is a paradise for photographers and nature lovers, with endless opportunities to capture spectacular landscapes.
One of the highlights of the trek is the scenic campsite near the waterfalls, where you get to spend the night under a sky full of stars amidst the peaceful wilderness of Bandaje village. Enjoy the warmth of a campfire, delicious local food, and the serene beauty of the Western Ghats.
Located around 25 km from Ujire, the trek also offers views of the historic Ballalarayana Durga Fort, which can be reached with an additional walk from the falls.
The monsoon season is considered the best time to visit, as the waterfalls come alive in their full glory, making the entire landscape incredibly vibrant and mesmerizing.

Bandaje Arbi Falls trek permits are issued strictly based on availability from the Forest Department.

• Postpone the event
• Provide a refund
The trek may be scheduled either on Day 1 or Day 2 depending on permit availability and operational conditions. Participants are requested to remain flexible with the itinerary.
